After menopause I began to gain weight in my middle section. I was moderately active and thought I was eating a healthy diet. I could not get the weight off. I was not overweight but I was headed in that direction. Lorie asked what my goal/outcome was for consulting her. She created a meal plan for me based on my activity level, height, what my proper weight should be, etc. I followed the meal plan exactly and I never felt starved for food. Every week the meals changed, the meals are flexible. Lorie is friendly and easily accessible by email/texts when questions arise. She changed my life and taught me how to eat properly. Lorie offers common sense nutritional advice that’s easy to follow especially if you work together to create a customized food plan. I’m not an extreme athlete but I do want to live my healthiest life by exercising and eating the right foods. Lorie has helped me address my sugar cravings in her supportive, non-judgmental way. The key for me has been to set small weight loss goals working my way to the overall goal. This way I don’t put pressure on myself. As I’ve learned there are no quick fixes. I met Lorie during the height of the pandemic we had amazingly helpful telephone calls, a plan put in place using low Fodmap, and lactose free.
